It can be used in standing seam roof and wall panels and is also useable for buttering or bedding non-pourous members squeezed together during fastening. Q607 can be used for field caulking of interior panel joints and to separate dissimilar metals to prevent galvanic action. Q607 adheres well to a variety of metals and metal finishes including but not limited to Galvalume, Kynar, stainless steel, PVDF, aluminum and fiberglass. Q607 adheres to oily metal surfaces. For best performance the joint should be as clean and dry as possible. Q607 can be processed in temperatures from -5°F to 120°F but best results will be obtained in normal (60°-80°F) operating conditions. Features : The product contains butyl rubber polymers, polyisobutylene and polybutene plasticizers, inert fillers, adhesion promoters, processing aids and antioxidants.
