Specifically formulated to be a superior performing product for smaller or lighter door lites or windows. It is a user-friendly product with good green strength for applications within the window and door lite industries. Q-16 is a patented product, which will adhere to a variety of substrates including wood, aluminum, PVC, styrene, fiberglass and polypropylene. It is impervious to water, adheres within 30 seconds and allows for repositioning of glass for up to 30 minutes. Advantages : Allows for immediate assembly and shipment of product reducing lead-time and virtually eliminating the need for warehousing of finished product. The thermal application cuts through mil grease while also eliminating any adverse affects of high factory temperatures during installation. Can be used in conjunction with a variety of substrates and glass, drastically reducing the need to stock a variety of adhesives. Glass can be positioned and repositioned for up to 30 minutes allowing for perfect placement and a reduction of rejects. Q-16 will not flow out of joints and is easily trimmed after fast installation resulting in a professional finished product. Paintable and resistant to all known cleaning products. Supplied in 5 pound blocks, 5-gallon buckets and 55-gallon drums to eliminate material waste. Applications : Q-16 is packaged in 5 pounds blocks, 5-gallon containers, and 55-gallon drums to allow for use with a variety of application methods and equipment. Will out perform all other products currently used for glazing windows and door lites with the exception of Q-17. It can also be used as a perimeter seal on permanently installed door lites.
