| Q-126 is a high quality butyl tape for application during any season. Produced with a unique blend elastomers, butyl and EPDM rubber which prevents both oxidation and migration of the finished product. The remainder of the compound is comprised of select fillers, plasticiizers, antioxidants,fungicides and processing aids.
It has excellent adhesion to commercially clean, dry metal surfaces and does not harden, bleed or stain. With pressure, this product will act as a sealing membrane, filling minor irregularities within the joint. |

| Since the product is a non-hardening butyl tape, it serves as excellent joint filler when expansion or compression of the joint may occur as a result of temperature fluctuations. Its unique blend of raw materials allows it to also be used with dissimilar materials commonly found in the construction industry.
Q-126 is used at the job site for overlapping seams of similar or dissimilar materials forming a living sealant joint performing as a barrier against water, moisture, dust, snow, and dirt. |
